Which countries do you buy from?

Currently we buy from suppliers based in the United Kingdom.

If you are from outside the UK and are keen to sell to us then please get in touch and we may be able to come to an arrangement.

What can I sell?

We buy all Game Boy consoles, UK/European games and many types of accessory including Cheat Cartridges, power adaptors, USB charging cables, wireless adaptors, link cables, console lights, console cases and game cases.

Please make sure your items meet our Guidelines with regard to authenticity and physical condition.

How can I tell if my game is genuine?

This is a common scenario as many counterfeits are hard to spot. If you’re able to send us clear photos of your items then we can normally root out any counterfeits at that stage. If some of them slip through the net then, once we receive them we’ll adjust your Quote accordingly. You will have the opporunity to accept or reject the new Quote. Any counterfeits will be destroyed unless you ask for them to be returned at your own cost. Read about fake carts (opens in a new tab).

How much will I get for my items?

This depends on the popularity of the product and the condition it’s in. The more you tell us about your items, the more accurate the Quote we’re able to provide. Once we receive your items we’ll inspect them in detail. Normally we don’t need to make any adjustments to the Quote but in certain circumstances we may need to make you another offer - this can be higher or lower than the original Quote.

What happens when you receive my items?

When we receive your items we will carefully inspect them. Assuming they are in the expected condition, we will make payment using your chosen method. If, however, one or more items are in significantly different condition to that on which our original Quote was based,  then we may make a revised offer. You may choose to have any rejected items returned to you at your own cost.

Who pays for postage to GameRascal?

If the value of the final Quote is £30 or more, then GameRascal will refund your postage costs up to the price of Royal Mail’s ‘Second Class Signed For’ service. The appropriate amount will be added to the payment for your items.

Can I choose the payment method?

Yes, you can choose from PayPal, Direct Bank Transfer or Cheque.
